In-House Apprentice Certifications


In addition to the course lead certifications offered by the apprenticeship scheme (ran by the relative awarding body) we here at Azatom believe in pushing boundaries and rewarding skills and talent. We award in-house qualifications which are role specific to skills & tasks in the day to day challenges faced by our apprentices throughout their term with us. Each certification is based on levels of difficulty faced in each area specific to the given certification ranging from level 1-3.

Difficulty Rating Explained:


Level 1:
A basic understanding of any given task/role involved with support and guidance

Level 2:
An intermediate understanding of any given role and or task + Technical knowledge and understanding of the task/role involved with occasional support

Level 3:
A fully comprehensive & in-depth understanding of the task/role involved independently without the need for supervision or support




Logistics Operation (LO)


Customer Service in Logistics Operations, Placing & Dispatching Orders and Courier Communications over the course of their 1 year apprenticeship with AZATOM®

Level 1:
Being able to answer e mails and basic phone enquiries relating to customer returns & dispatches.

Level 2:
Being able to answer correspondence and phone enquiries relating to technical support and delivery of customer parcels. Also being competent using the internal databases and online back-end services dedicated to our internal systems to aid in customer support.

Level 3:
Being competent communicating with couriers over collections and non-delivery of parcels across a range of domestic and international situations, time scales and platforms.

Customer Service & Communication (CSC)


Customer Service in Multiple Online Platforms, Warranty Administration, Customer Care in Telecommunications over the course of their 1 year apprenticeship with AZATOM®

Level 1:
Being able to locate customer information using our internal systems while handling live communications with customers.

Level 2:
Being able to navigate the warranty database, locate multiple information requests and submitting correct completed forms for internal teams without supervision.

Level 3:
Handling customer needs live via multiple communication protocols while fulfilling offline and online tasks.

Warehousing and Storage (WS)


Receiving & Dispatching Goods, Storing Goods Safely and Processing Orders over the course of their 1 year apprenticeship with AZATOM®

Level 1:
Being able to keep your work space safe, clean and tidy to our professional standards.

Level 2:
Safely unload containers and vans into a designated area within the warehouse. Also knowing where each product belongs and being able to identify from a manifest whether there is enough space for new stock or whether preparation is needed.

Level 3:
Being able to unload a container or van, separating deliveries out into colours and quantities in a time period where you are able to confirm stock and delivery as correct and complete before the courier leaves. Also being able to complete a stock take on any product at any time in the warehouse without supervision.

Product Refurbishment Technician (PRT)


Electronic Audio Equipment & Accessories over the course of their 1 year apprenticeship with AZATOM®

Level 1:
Being able to identify and test all parts & functions of a returned unit.

Level 2:
Being able to clean up and repackage a unit and all accessories to a standard where they can be resent as a replacement or refurbished unit.

Level 3:
Being able to clean up and repackage a unit and all accessories to a standard where the unit can be resent as a new product. This also includes being able to use both the hand sealing machine to reseal products.

Mail & Package Distribution (MPD)


Logistics Preparation, Package Preparation & Product Dispatch over the course of their 1 year apprenticeship with AZATOM®

Level 1:
Knowing the difference between each domestic & international service used and the correct dispatch area for the product once it is packed by using the label provided.

Level 2:
Being able to pack a single product parcel including customer invoice using multiple sources of information as proof of work and information confirmation.

Level 3:
Being able to label up a large 10-99 box consignment for off-site dispatch and storage locations, paying careful attention to product identification tags & labels using courier/storage facility provided labels & information.

Brand Knowledge & Technical Support (BKTS)


Brand Knowledge, Technical Product Knowledge and Technical Customer Support over the course of their 1 year apprenticeship with AZATOM®

Level 1:
Being able to identify all products and identify each products functions and capabilities.

Level 2:
Being able to operate all functions on the unit and walk a customer through any given procedure with the unit available to you for reference.

Level 3:
Being able to walk a customer through any given specific function on a unit without a unit available to you for reference.
